The Website Visitors Tab allows you to see which prospects have visited your website, giving you valuable real-time insights into interested leads. With this feature, you can immediately identify, segment, and retarget visitors through FINNY campaigns.

  • Real-time updates: Visitors are logged as soon as they land on your website.

  • Detailed visitor insights: Click into any visitor profile to see more information, such as demographics or contact details (if available).

  • One-click targeting: Easily add visitors into lists or campaigns without leaving the page.

How to Set Up

When you email support@finny.com to enable Website Visitors tracking, you will receive a TXT file that contains the exact HTML snippet you must add to every webpage you want to track.

Implementation Considerations

  • Placement Strategy: Add the snippet to your site’s header or footer template for site‑wide tracking, or manually insert it on specific pages for selective tracking. Test on a staging environment first if possible.

  • Technical Notes: Verify it loads correctly on all page types (landing pages, blog posts, product pages) and on both desktop and mobile versions. You can check this by opening the Console of your website and searching for "vector"

  • Verification Steps: After implementation, monitor the Website Visitors tab for test visits. Visit your site from different devices to confirm tracking. If visitors don’t appear within 24 hours, contact support.

  1. If you haven’t yet enabled Website Visitors tracking, email support@finny.com.

  2. Our support team will send you instructions for setup and verification.

  3. Once enabled, your visitor data will begin appearing in the tab immediately.

We recommend enabling this feature as soon as possible — it helps you retarget high-intent prospects right when they’re most engaged.

How to Use the Website Visitors Tab

  1. View visitor activity

    • Each time a prospect visits your website, their profile appears in this tab.

    • You can see the date and time of their visit.

  2. Open profiles for details

    • Click any visitor entry to expand their prospect profile.

    • Review demographics, contact information, and other available data.

  3. Add to a list

    • Select a visitor and click Add to List.

    • You can create a list called Website Visitors or add them to any other list.

  4. Retarget with campaigns

    • Once added to a list, you can include visitors in highly targeted campaigns.

    • Campaigns can be customized with personalized outreach to maximize conversions.

  5. Manage your feed

    • Use the heart icon to favorite/save a visitor.

    • Use the X icon to remove visitors who are not a fit.

Create a dedicated Website Visitors list to keep these leads organized.

Set up a retargeting campaign specifically for website visitors to engage them while interest is high.

Use personalization (merge fields + AI personalization) in your outreach to improve response rates.
