🔐 How do I create my account?

Go to the sign-up page and fill in your advisor profile, client personas, and example outreach email. The onboarding survey takes less than 20 minutes.

⚙ Where do I update my information after signup?

In the Settings tab (bottom-left). Here you can:

  • Edit your name, email, or password.

  • Update onboarding survey responses.

  • Upload new proof points (articles, awards, videos).

  • Manage email preferences and integrations.

đŸ“©Â How does FINNY send emails?

FINNY integrates with your own email account (Gmail, Outlook). All emails are sent directly from your inbox, with your signature, so they appear fully authentic.

đŸ€Â Can I connect LinkedIn?

Yes. When connected, FINNY shows social connections on prospect profiles and can help personalize LinkedIn outreach.

Important: Avoid sending LinkedIn connection invitations outside of FINNY when running campaigns that include LinkedIn events. If you exceed LinkedIn's weekly invitation limits, LinkedIn will temporarily restrict your ability to send more invitations. FINNY automatically detects this rate limiting and marks your account as “disabled,” which will pause any campaigns with LinkedIn events until your LinkedIn status returns to “active.” You may see a “Limited Access” warning when this occurs. To prevent campaign interruptions, manage all LinkedIn outreach through FINNY when running LinkedIn campaigns.

Important for campaigns: FINNY will send emails whether or not prospects accept your LinkedIn connection requests. However, LinkedIn messages will only be sent to prospects who accept your connection invitations. The timing between LinkedIn requests and emails is controlled by the "Days Until Next Event" setting in your campaign configuration.

Note: Some LinkedIn campaign events may show as "skipped" - this is normal behavior when steps are automatically skipped due to missing LinkedIn profiles or unaccepted connection requests.

🎯 What is an F-score?

The FINNY Score (F-score) predicts the likelihood of conversion between you and a prospect. Higher F-scores = better matches based on your onboarding survey.

🔁 Why does my campaign show as "complete" when some steps are uncompleted?

This is normal behavior. Campaigns are marked "complete" when all possible steps have been executed, even if some steps were automatically skipped. Common reasons for skipped steps include:

  • Prospects without LinkedIn profiles (LinkedIn connection steps are skipped)

  • Prospects who didn't accept LinkedIn invitations (follow-up LinkedIn messages are skipped)

To see exactly what happened for each prospect, check the outreach analytics in their individual prospect profiles.

  • Save 10–15 prospects from your Feed into a new list.

  • Go to Campaign Center → Create Campaign.

  • Define your campaign goal, select your list, and let FINNY generate your outreach messages.

  • Preview → Launch.

🛑 What if a prospect unsubscribes?

Prospects who opt out are automatically excluded from future campaigns to keep you compliant. You can also manually update their status in the Prospect Card.

đŸ‘„Â Can I add my own prospects?

Yes. Use the Uploader tab in My Prospects to add contacts you already have. FINNY keeps them separate from its prospect database.

🕒 How many emails can I send per day?

By default, campaigns send up to 30 emails/day (safe for domain health). You can increase to 100/day max. Emails are automatically throttled to avoid spam flags.

📆 Advanced Campaign Planning and Timing Considerations

While the FAQ covers basic campaign setup, here are important timing and scheduling details that will help you plan more effectively:

Campaign Queuing Behavior

When you have multiple active campaigns, FINNY queues them sequentially rather than running them simultaneously. This means your second campaign will only begin once the first one completes. This sequential approach protects your domain health but affects your planning:

  • Plan campaign launches with completion timing in mind

  • Consider staggering campaign creation rather than launching multiple at once

  • Factor in total campaign duration when planning follow‑up sequences

Daily Limits Across All Campaigns

The system enforces these maximum daily limits across all your active campaigns combined:

  • 100 emails per day (total across all campaigns)

  • 20 LinkedIn messages per day (total across all campaigns)

Campaign Start Date Restrictions

Important timing rule: Campaigns started on Fridays don’t begin until the following Monday. Plan accordingly when setting launch dates.

Calculating Campaign Duration

When planning your campaigns, calculate total timeline by considering:

  • Your daily email limit setting (30‑100 emails/day)

  • Size of your prospect list

  • Any “days between events” settings in your campaign sequence

  • Weekend delays (no messages sent Saturday/Sunday)

  • National holidays (no messages sent)

Best Practices for New Advisors

  • Start with smaller lists (10‑15 prospects) to test timing

  • Use the default 30 emails/day initially to maintain good deliverability

  • Plan campaign sequences during weekdays for consistent delivery

  • Allow buffer time between campaigns for response management

đŸ’»Â Can I track who visits my website?

Yes. Set up the Website Visitors tab (contact support@finny.com for setup). You’ll see real-time visitor data and can retarget them with campaigns.
